2009 Free Live Music Series at The County Line Benefits the San Antonio Food Bank

Now in its 9th year, the popular free music concerts — featuring some of the best Texas and national country music entertainers — are held every Wednesday night from 7 – 10 p.m. through October 7 at the County Line Bar-B-Q restaurant at 10101 IH-10 West (between the Wurzbach and Huebner Road exits, near the Colonnade) in San Antonio.

The live music series is free; however, all customers are asked to make a food or monetary donation to the San Antonio Food Bank. Since its inception, the series has raised more than 414,000 pounds of food for the local Food Bank. So far this year, approximately 29,916 pounds have been raised.

“This year, more than ever, the support that the San Antonio Food Bank receives through the County Line Music Series is critical,” says Erica Benavides, Community Investments Manager, San Antonio Food Bank.  “Because of the economic downturn in the past year, we have seen local need rise significantly.  We are extremely grateful to have this partnership with The County Line.”

The “2009 Live Music Series at The County Line” headliners are:

August 12 Zack Walther

August 19 Two Tons of Steel (CD Release Party)

August 26 Rich O’Toole

September 2 Max Stalling

September 9 Emory Quinn

September 16 Django Walker

September 23 Kyle Park

September 30 Eleven Hundred Springs
