The Austin Charm bracelet is a product of an afternoon sitting around with friends trying to think of something I could do that would capture the essence of Austin and still have a price point that would be attractive. We just sat down and made of list of things, people, places that all reminded us of our city.  So, what came of it was of course UT. That posed a problem in that alot of UT symbols and emblems are copyrighted, but we found the state of Texas map with the UT emblazened on it.  It turned out to be perfect.  Then Austin being the "Live Music Capital of the World", the guitar was the perfect reference to that claim to fame. Then Austin being so athletic, I decided that a runner and a cyclist had to be involved...mainly because we all dodge these guys in the street all the time. Then, one of the most beautiful iconic structures in the city is the bridge over the Colorado River at The Capital  of Texas Hiway. and last, but not least was the bat, which incorporates another title Austin claims as having the largest urban colony of Mexican Freetail Bats in the world.  So there you have it.  We just added a cool engraveable disc to be personalized any way someone would want and viola!
